Clean Air Designs Inc. is a privately held corporation dedicated to developing and producing cost-effective products that improve indoor environments. The company's major product lines include energy recovery ventilation equipment that utilize enthalpy wheels, heat pipes, and air-to-air plate type exchangers.

Since its founding as a consultant company specializing in ventilation solutions and after the acquisition of free market assets from a leading thermal recovery unit manufacturer, Clean Air Designs has grown to be recognized as a North American innovator in the field of indoor environmental control. The company has built an international reputation with its air quality control products designed for improving indoor environments. Most recently, its industry-leading application of desiccant-based technology has garnered the company much attention. This technology makes possible state-of-the-art energy recovery systems that help customers meet ASHRAE Standard 62-1999 indoor air quality requirements and simultaneously conserve energy. Another high-tech component that is available as a component of the Clean Air Designs air handling system is the patented Heat Pipe Technology Dehumidification Heat Pipes. These heat pipes are designed for sensible heat ratio manipulation through passive pre-cooling and re-heating which results in lower cooling operation costs, reduced cooling capacities, and increased latent cooling capacities.

Clean Air Designs currently markets both a standard catalogue line and custom designed and built line of energy recovery ventilation equipment in the 1,000 to 22,000 cfm range. In addition to energy recovery units Clean Air Designs builds custom air handling equipment for commercial, industrial, or institutional applications with options ranging from simple heating and cooling units to gas phase filtration packages.
